Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actorsworkshop in Los Angeles. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk had the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming of the season's third finale episode.
