Holly was wed three times. Her first marriage was to actor Danny Quinn. The couple got married in 1991 but two years later, they divorced. Jim Carrey and she first came across each other in 1994, while auditioning for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. They weren't able to get the part however, they began to bond while they were filming Dumb and Dumber. In 1996 they were married. After a short marriage, they separated in 1997. She married Francis Greco who was born Canadian. Her status changed to Canadian after 2008, when she was married to Greco. They divorced in 2014 Holly and her children live in Oakville Ontario Canada. Since 1992 Holly, her father Grant and her family created their own A Fund at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in memory of her brother, Alexander, about whom Holly said, "He was a boy full of dreams, hope, and plans. After Alexander passed away at 14 years old, He had traveled extensively across Europe and Central America. He also resided at New York City as well as Los Angeles. This gave an interest to architectural archaeology, archaeology and history.

Alaina Suddeth's parents are Kristy Suddeth of Rossville in Georgia and J. J. Suddeth. Alaina began singing at just 3 years old. The first time she performed in front of an audience was with a local kids singing group. The next time she performed in public were at an annual Christmas destination with karaoke. She sang in church, restaurants, holidays with family and any other gathering within a 30 mile radius from the place she resided. Alaina aged eight, won the Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. That year she was crowned the competition to showcase talent for children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. Performances on the stage continued to be enjoyed until the 12th birthday of her, when she became the winner of a contest that enabled her to perform on the big stage. At the age of 10 years old, she went to Orlando to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She beat hundreds of children in the contest to take home the crown. Alaina performed with Georgia Country Gospel Association's youth group. Alaina was just 12 years old at the time she took her first and many subsequent trips to Nashville. She played in Tootsie's Bar, which is a bar in the area that was located on Broadway. In 2009, Alaina won the inaugural WinniSTAR youth talent competition in the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to performing, Alaina wrote several songs such as Leaving and Set Me Free. Alaina got her inspiration to perform by observing Holly Witherow. Holly was sufering from a brain tumour. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza before she joined Idol. She is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School, which is located in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
