Aurora
Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded for an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to pursue music for the sake of personal development, and not as a way of earning money or for an interest. They inspired her to write. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. After her mom told her that her songs would not just help her get noticed, however, they could also help others understand their importance within the global community and see what can be done with them, she decided to begin playing in front of the public. The mother of her child suggested that she sing her songs in public in order to make people aware of the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she told her parents. Aurora was not a goal. Aurora claims she loves writing music. According to her, the songs she creates are the way that she feels everything.
